How do the VertiDrive crawler robots work?
VertiDrive magnetic crawlers grip the hull and strip coating in continuous passes under remote control — with the operator controlling the crawler remotely; suitability depends on the surface, access and equipment configuration. Dezu is the exclusive Philippine distributor: we operate the robots on contract work, rent them, sell them, and train your crew on them.
Why prepare marine steel with water instead of grit?
Water-only blasting introduces no blasting abrasive and can remove soluble salts and existing coatings. It does not create a new steel profile. Removed material and water still need containment, and the surface must meet the coating specification, including contaminant and flash-rust checks. The method alone does not guarantee coating life.
