How is hydro jetting different from hydro blasting?
The terms overlap in waterjet work. How does hydro jetting clean a pipe?
A pump sends high pressure water through a hose or lance to a nozzle inside the pipe. The selected jet pattern acts on the deposit and pipe wall. Diameter, bends, material, line condition and the route for displaced debris determine the tooling and cleaning plan.
Is hydro jetting the same as industrial pipe cleaning?
Hydro jetting is one industrial pipe-cleaning method. High pressure water and suitable nozzles remove reachable deposits from process pipework, pipelines and drains. Mechanical cleaning, flushing and other methods may suit different restrictions; pipe geometry, condition and the material to be removed determine the choice.
When is hydro jetting worth considering?
Consider it for scale, grease or process buildup where access permits suitable tooling and the pipe condition supports the work. Confirm the deposit, diameter, bends, available openings and destination of removed material. A restored flow path and a fully cleaned wall are different acceptance requirements.
Can Dezu clean pipework at an operating industrial plant?
Dezu has delivered pipe cleaning at operating facilities and during shutdowns. The particular line still needs the isolation, release, access and work controls agreed with the plant. An operating facility does not imply that a live process line can be cleaned without isolation.
Does hydro jetting prevent the blockage from returning?
Cleaning removes accessible buildup; recurrence also depends on pipe condition, upstream inputs, gradient and downstream capacity. The delivered airport drainage case records clearance, not permanent prevention. Agree the inspection and follow-up needed for the cause of the restriction.
